In recent years, one of the trends related to gastronomic experiences has been the adaptation or reconstruction of food markets in leisure spaces dedicated to the sale and gastronomic tasting. In this way, the traditional neighborhood markets have been transformed into modern places where you can buy everything from basic products to delicatessen, and you can also eat in the wide range of restaurants that are also integrated inside. These markets are becoming tourist attractions in cities, as is the case in some of the Andalusian cities: Triana or Encarnación markets in Seville, the Estación market in Cádiz, the Central market in Almería, etc.

We cannot fail to mention some of the gourmet markets with which we collaborate at 100x100 South. Merced Market, in Malaga. Next to the Picasso Museum, the market combines traditional stalls with more than 20 gastronomic spaces. Altogether, a culinary proposal that includes the most popular flavors of Malaga and a varied selection of international cuisine. The Lonja del Barranco, in Seville. Imagine eating and very well with views of the Triana neighborhood of Seville or the banks of the Guadalquivir river, in a building that recalls the work of Eiffel, who presumably initiated the design of it. Victoria Market, in Cordoba. Cordovan cuisine, typical dishes from the Andalusian recipe book and the best of international cuisine at the more than 30 stalls that are distributed in the middle of the Victoria Gardens, very close to the historic center declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Mercado de San Agustín in Granada is a new gastronomic concept in the heart of Granada next to the Cathedral, Gran Vía and the García Lorca Museum. It offers more than 600 varieties of products made at the moment, to taste at indoor tables or on a large heated terrace.

Some of the gastronomic markets not only offer sales and restoration, but also organize visits that include workshops, courses and tastings, as well as all kinds of events and celebrations.

In addition to these activities, we have designed new products related to gastronomic photography. What better than a market to unite photography and gastronomy. Products such as gastronomic photography workshops where we can learn to make the most of the camera and of course enjoy the products of the market, and routes through the history of gastronomy discovering the gastronomic secrets that these corners of flavor that are the gourmet markets offer us.
